Arcadyan Technology Corporation, with the vision of "Creating a better future through the internet" for its corporate sustainability development, has established three major sustainability axes: Equilibrium, Prosperity & Inclusivity (EPI). Since 2020, Arcadyan has adopted the BS 8001 circular economy standard, adhering to ecological design and practicing the 10R concept of the circular economy from product design and manufacturing to disposal and recycling. This approach aims to minimize material waste by actively utilizing Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) recyclable materials, reducing component usage, facilitating easy disassembly and recycling, extending product life cycles, and designing products that conserve energy, thereby significantly reducing carbon emissions in the manufacturing process. The long-term commitment to green product design has yielded results. This year, Arcadyan has also been honored with the "SEAL Sustainable Product Award" from the international environmental sustainability organization SEAL. Additionally, it received recognition from the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research and the Center for Green Economy, which conferred the "Circular Economy Award - Outstanding Product Award" in acknowledgment of its achievements in circular economy practices.
Arcadyan responds to global climate action by signing the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2022, establishing specific short-term carbon reduction and long-term net-zero targets. The Taiwan headquarters and global manufacturing centers conduct an annual organizational greenhouse gas inventory based on ISO 14064. In the previous year, the Taiwan headquarters and the production center in Vietnam implemented the ISO 50001 energy management system, effectively enhancing the energy efficiency of the facilities. Moreover, the production center in Vietnam has installed a high-power output solar photovoltaic system within the industrial park, with plans to continuously expand its scale over the next 2-3 years, significantly increasing the utilization of renewable energy. The Taiwan headquarters is also set to complete the construction of a solar power generation system by 2026. In terms of green supply chain initiatives, Arcadyan actively promotes a supplier CSR guidance program through the "Go Green with Arcadyan" initiative, systematically assisting suppliers in conducting organizational greenhouse gas inventories and developing product carbon footprint reduction plans.
